Varun is currently shooting for the dance-based film Street Dancer 3D which is the third part in the ABCD franchise. The film is directed by Remo D’souza. The actor will be seen starring in the film with co-actors Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and dance legend Prabhudheva. The film is produced by Gulshan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, and directed by Remo D’souza is set to release on January 24, 2020. Alia Bhatt will be next seen in the Dharma Productions Brahmastra, an Ayan Mukerji film co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir kapoor and Mouni Roy which is set to release in 2020.
